Born in 1990, Matteo Barile grew up on the streets of Milan and spent his entire childhood fascinated by the underground culture and all its raw cultural facets. While in his teens he discovered club music and was instantly hooked to the house sound, especially to that of the late 80s, early 90s. Quite naturally, his love for music turned into a burning passion as he soon started DJ-ing at the ripe age of 16 and made the plunge into music production only 2 years after. Matteo prouds himself with being strongly influenced by the Chicago and deep house sounds, a fact you can hear in his groove-heavy, old-school infused music which he released so far on Houseworx, Deso Records, Underground Source or Auror to name a few. Speaking of releases, the young italian artist has a strong EP titled 'Retrovisions' forthcoming on Houseworks and a remix to be featured soon on the scottish Needa Records.
For our 12th podcast, Matteo Barille delivers an amazing 82 minutes worth of pure wax house records that showcases his exquisite taste, perfect mixing style and an amazing record collection. Enjoy!
