Frankfurt has always been a nucleus of innovation and creativity when it comes to quality electronic music being pumped out on a regular basis from high profile labels such as Cocoon, Playhouse, Connaisseur, or Live At Robert Johnson. In more recent times, the underground scene has also been teeming with activity as more and more seeds started sprouting all over town in places like Polytone, Smallroom, Separate Skills or Maria Colors. One addition to the select list of labels that keeps amazing with every new realese is Pressure Traxx.
Born in the autumn of 2012 from the cohesion of two (actually three) of the most innovative music makers in Frankfurt: Einzelkind and Frost, Pressure Traxx harvested six ripe releases that gave us monster tunes like 'Quick Change', 'Seamless Patterns', 'Nitetraxx 2', 'Now' or 'Get Off'. At the end of this month their sixth musical masterpiece is going to be released and by the looks of it, it's going to be big! The EP features three acid techno badboys, not too fast and hard to hurt you, but not too slow and delicate to bore you, delivered from the masterminds of Frost, Einzelkind and Julien Bracht.
'Pressure Traxx 008' comes out on the 26th of February and until then I strongly recommend you to check out their first, second and sixth releases.
