In a time when Underworld and The Chemical Brothers were headlining every festival across Europe and progressive house was storming clubs worldwide, a new breed of musicians was emerging, the kind of artists that focused more on the emotions music brings rather than on the quick club cash it can provide. In March 2003 Mark Stewart was making his debut on the now defunct Area Info Records with 'Peace Of Mind', an outstanding EP that took the underground scene by surprise and topped so many charts it was ridiculous.
What is even more ridiculous is the sheer quality of production and mastering this record had under it's grooves, that if you play it now, you won't believe it's almost 11 years old. And the good news is you can! Because Claro Intelecto's debut EP is getting a repress next month on dutch behemoth imprint Delsin. Pre-order is already available and there seems to be two version coming out: a limited edition and a normal pressing so keep your eyes out on the official store page.
