Let's Play House has been featured quite a few times on We Play Wax, more times than any other label we've come across so far and it's due mainly to the sheer quality and exquisite finesse that all their releases possess, but also to the fact that they were the first label to encourage our small project and supply us with a steady stream of news and promos. Big shout out to Nik Mercer and Jacques Renault for their ongoing support, we love you guys!
On its ongoing search for originality, LPH has featured a plethora of fresh new talents, boosted the status of many of today's top house producers and even featured a handful notable debuts throughout the years. One such debut has just been announced for the end of April and it features André Laos, a young Swedish producer from Gothenburg who has only released a remix for Mood II Swing on Street King last year. But don't be deceived by André's novelty status as the production quality and sound diversity his 'Roundabout EP' delivers is absolutely sublime. The vibes it presents itself with are a welcomed mix of warm summery keys, spaced out vocals, shimmering percussions, glistening synth licks and an infectious wide bassline which coupled with smooth driving kicks simply drive this release to summer mediterranean festival epicness and beyond. Each of the three original tracks tell a different part of the ethereal story and Session Victim's sun-infused approach closes the narrative circle of one of this year's most optimistic releases so far.
'Roundabout' is out on the 21st of April and it already sounds like the perfect candidate for one of this summer's heavy rotation records.
